The cold-working tool steel stands out thanks to characteristics like extreme hardness and ductility, compression resistance, and good frictional resistance. Without high-grade steels, the manufacturing processes such as cold forming, shearing, cutting, pressing, extruding, and cold rolling would be extremely difficult. Using these processes one can achieve an efficiency and quality by designing a tool concept properly, selecting an appropriate manufacturing process, but mainly choosing high quality steel. This steel has a broad spectrum of applications in mechanical engineering.
